USPS (U.S. Post Office) is used to ship all orders using First Class Mail or Priority Mail services. Both services include tracking numbers.
First Class Mail packages have a weight limit of 14 oz. Some orders with more than one sling can weigh over 14 oz. depending on the sling model and the leather used.
Packages weighing over 14 oz. will upgrade the shipping caluculator rates to Priority Mail and the First Class Mail option will not be shown on the shipping rate calculator.
USPS First Class Mail is $5.00 for 1 sling.
USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate is $10.00 for up to 3 slings.
Orders for over 3 slings will be in a USPS Medium Flat Rate box for $15.00

When the inventory shows “In-Stock” it means the leather is available to make that model sling.
If there aren’t any slings already made, it can take up to 1-5 days to make your sling.

All you need to do is attach the sling to your rifle.
Most of the leather is treated for water resistance and outdoor use during the tanning process or in the shop.
The slings will soften with use and will slowly absorb skin oils from your hands.
Unless you want to, there is no need to spend money on leather conditioners on new slings.

The No-Drill slings do not require or include swivels.
At this time the slings are outfitted with USA Made steel swivels by GrovTec (GT Swivels).
However, there has been a serious production shortage and significant price increases on these within the past two years.
If GT swivels are not available, Titan brand swivels will be substituted.
Push-button swivels are available instead of the traditional rifle sling swivels.
Our push button swivels have 1.5" wide loops and a recessed button to fit the thick leather slings.

Keepers are the 2 leather loops that help contain the two straps of the sling.
They're mostly for convenience however, they can aid in holding firmer length adjustments.
The keepers on the original style slings are handmade of only one piece of leather, just like the slings.
Nothing else is used to hold them together, just the exisiting cut of leather.

This is recommended If you need the ablity to make rapid length adjustments or frequently like to adjust your sling length.
Slings without keepers will be $10 cheaper.
Keepers can be made thinner by using saddler's staples. This allows the ends to butt together instead of overlapping.

Don't hesitate to ask. Sometimes I find single hides from overstock and tannery run sales.
Normally I buy only full hides because the tanneries require a minimum order of several hides and sometimes they must all be of the same color, so getting a specific unique color might be difficult for one sling order.
It's possible to find individual straps in different colors from various leather shops at retail pricing, but this will raise the cost of your sling considerably because a single leather strap can cost almost as much as a fully assembled sling.

Only one swivel (either the front or rear) must be removed for installation.
The M1A and Garand allows easy removal of the rear swivel by simply unscrewing the lower buttplate screw.
