There are a few different leather tannages available.
Bushcrats No-Drill Slings were created as a simple expedient solution for rifles without mounting hardware. Most importantly, it gives you the safety of having a sling on your rifle with the convenience of carrying it without having to permanently modify or drill stud holes into your stock and add hardware. It should be noted that this model sling is not a direct replacement for a sling with drilled-and-tapped studs, swivels, and hardware, but it is a great alternative that will provide safety and functionality with minimal trade-offs.
This model is a fixed-length sling (the length is not adjustable). The exact final length of the sling is extremely difficult to determine and depends on several factors that can vary depending on your individual rifle, including buttstock sizes (height and thickness), forearm length, and barrel diameter. Each of these factors will add or subtract a few inches from the final length.

My 1949 Savage Model 99 is in original condition and I intended to keep that 300 Savage that way. So many have been drilled and tapped for scopes and sling swivels destroying that iconic original design. It was nice to find someone who understands that. Thank you. A very satisfied customer.

Took two weeks to come through UK customs but well worth the wait. Fits perfectly and securely on my Air Arms S510 carbine air rifle. Looks good as well. Couldn’t find anything comparable in the UK. Great service from Bill at Bushcrafts who I emailed last year before I eventually decided the extra £37 for Post and Packaging would be worth it. I can now go out hunting invasive grey squirrels to protect our native reds confident that the sling will support my rifle. Thanks Bill and Bushcrafts.
This is my second no drill levergun sling from Bushcrafts. I won’t purchase a sling from anyone else. This one will be joining me for upcoming mountain lion season.

This is a wonderful sling for my 1892. I’m showing it along with my Henry Frontier 22. The Chiappa 1892 has the Bushcrafts sling, the Henry has a competing brand, both are of high quality and I would recommend both. However, for a third the price I wouldn’t hesitate on having a Bushcrafts model on the Henry. I don’t need a magazine clamp on the on the 1892 and I feel it has a more “frontier” look to it. The Bushcrafts sling is much more universal to any firearm and doesn’t need to be customized to the crescent at the back of the stock, so it would work well with an 1873. Since it doesn’t use hardware the Bushcrafts is very quiet. I wouldn’t hesitate to have another for any lever action I might purchase in the future!

Just looking for a cheap sling and not have to drill into my beautiful rifle stock. Looked on the usual Amazon and Ebay sites. Found plenty of cheap alternatives, but just wasn't thrilled by any of them. Then just did a random search on google and came across this site and while initially, I thought $50 for a sling was high, I thought to myself, I want something nice and leather would pair great with this rifle. So went ahead and purchased. Once received, I could not ignore the softness of this leather and the smell of it. It just oozes quality and craftsmanship. Once on the rifle, I knew I made the best choice. This sling is hands down the best sling I could have bought. The sling looks amazing on my 32 Winchester special. I have been hunting with it this week and I'm pleased how it performed. Looks great on my Winchester 94 Short Rifle and shotguns! I can’t wait to take it out this fall. This is a quality sling all around. Well made, durable, and a great fit. This leather will likely develop a nice patina through use. I especially like that I don’t have to drill into my rifle or shotguns to install it, while still getting a secure and practical sling setup that doesn’t interfere with my iron sights. I own a never fired Winchester 94 Trapper that I wanted to attach a sling and start using. I researched the various brands offering no drill options and thought the No-Drill Universal Fit Rifle Sling by Bushcrafts was interesting. I was especially attracted to how its design matched the fast action spirit and use of the rifle. I was a little worried about how secure the sling would be on the carbine, but once attached, which takes about a minute, I realized there was nothing to worry about. It attaches rock solid. I wish a sizing chart had been available for the No-Drill sling. When I ordered my first sling, I stated it was for a Win.94 . The standard length was sent, too long, but that sling found a home on my Hawken replica. I'm waiting for the short sling to match to my Win.94 . Roger Bossart
